KFC Signal, 100 Feet Road

A Casual Walk On CMH Road In Indiranagar, Bangalore

CMH Road, Bangalore

If you have ever been to CMH road in Indiranagar you can relate my experience with yours. From apartments to restaurants to retail shops, this road has everything lined up, so I can say this road is the world by itself.  The name CMH comes from the famous Chinmaya Mission Hospital which is the starting point of the CMH road. On my left-hand side, Chinmaya Mission Hospital stands whereas on my right there is a Chinmaya Mission Temple which has a beautiful design.

A Refreshing Walk

From Chinmaya Mission Hospital I have started walking towards 100 feet road. The road has trees on both sides of the road which makes walking refreshing. This road has everything Grocery Shops like M.K. Retail, Nature’s Basket, Retail Shops like Levi’s, People, Restaurants like Rasa, Paradise Biryani. And a famous FabIndia which has a variety of products that this chain offers — apparels, furnishings. One thing which I did not like about this road is that the pavement is not well maintained.

Junction

After BBMP park I hit a junction which is known as KFC signal because of the huge KFC outlet on the corner. This is the junction which connects 100 Feet Road with CMH Road. I can see a lot of changes after KFC Signal because this is the place where Namma Metro Station of Indiranagar is. There is no trees on both the side, but this is the place you can call as a commercial hub of Indiranager with people, vehicles, and shops.

After walking for another 200 meters we hit another junction which is known as Double Road junction, beyond which there is hardly anything left for exploring. From there more or less you will find more local shops till you reach Halasuru.

This road is not different than any other road in Bangalore, but as I have already mentioned this road is the world by itself. So if I want to have a refreshing walk with some shopping I would definitely going to return.
